  • So it's been almost 2 months they have had my car. I was rear ended. My insurance fully covers it. After a month my rental coverage ran out. I was told my car would be done on the 3rd of February a Friday. I call on Friday, they tell me it's being painted and won't be done until today, Wednesday February 8th! So I go with out a car another week! Finally the 8th arrives, I call and see what time I should come to pick it up (since I'll need someone to drive me there). They tell me it's being painted, and won't be done until Friday the 10th!!! I tell them they told me it was already being painted. Then they say their paint machine broke. How convenient!! They also told me they'd put me in a rental. When? They can't confirm that. I ask for an email confirmation saying the repairs would be done by Friday, they say they can't do that. I ask for an email confirmation saying they were going to have the rental car delivered tomorrow morning so I could make it to my appts. They said they couldn't do that either. So I have no way to see if they are even painting my car. I have no idea when it will be finished. And I have no way to get to my appointments tomorrow. Definitely do not take your car here! They will jerk you around and lie to you! Update** I had my husband leave work early, and drive me down there. The car was in the paint booth but was still being taped off. All the repairs had been made luckily, so all it needs is to be painted and have the bumper cover put on. I talked to the owner and he seemed hesitant but arranged a 2 day rental. I'm hoping since they are paying for the rental it will push them to finish it by Friday. I will Update again on Friday. If all is well with the car, I will change the star rating. Update** Picked up car, it's Saturday morning. Car looks great inside and out. Deductible was fully waived. Increasing rating from 1 star to 4.
