  • In ER for my 76 year old mother. They have a room ready and have not yet taken her up yet. The nurse knows she has not eaten all day. I had to ask for water. They know I've been here all day and have not once offered me any. Where's the empathy? Each time the nurse says "a couple of minutes" it's for sure 45 minutes before she'll come back in here. I'm watching her sit at nurse station. I've been to several other hospitals for other family. This is the worst experience ever of all of them.
