We had eaten there once before on a recommendation from a co worker of my wife. She is of Thai descent, therefore she should know. The food was exquisite in taste and we really loved it. We did notice that the amount of meat within the dish itself was maybe a little skimpy but didn't think much of it. Then last night we decided to go with a couple of friends to eat there. We spoke so highly of the place and even told our friends that we loved it way more than Thai House on Shea where we had been with them before.
The dishes came and we were blown away. The bowls of Red and Yellow Curry that my wife and 2 friends ordered looked like kid's portions. The amount of food in the bowls was minimal. The amount of meat was again skimpy bordering on non existant. I had the PadThai. The flavor was authentic and delicious. There was only, however, three small pieces of chicken breast and two shrimp.
The issue here is the fact that almost every dish is now around $10 and the portions are too small. For this kind of money, I expect more meat. I am not sure if we will be going back. I would say something, but not too sure if they really would care.
