  • 6/24 Me again. So had the joy of trying to get my one checked bag returned to me. Suffice to say they had the nerve to say I had to fly back to vegas from cali to get it. Yep that's right. Rationale, I could have gotten the bag. After revisiting 4 times why I couldn't get my bag, that they didn't tell me it was not even in same terminal and I would miss the only flight out which in turn would have had me in their face for a hotel these geniuses said they would send the bag to San Fran. 8 hours from me. Not the one hour flight to where I am. On the pipe is this airline. After 45 minutes I got them to get my bag to my local airport. Refused to deliver to my home. This airline needs to be taught a lesson through social media outrage and boycott. 6/23 All I can say is this. I had NEVER had a good experience on this carrier and over time went out of my way not to use them. Had not flown United for years but had no choice on a trip from Vegas to Houston today. We leave 20 minutes late only to climb for a while when the pilot came on to say the landing gear was broken and we would be going back to Vegas. If we crashed on landing it would have been less painful than the rest of this experience. No customer service desk so stuck on line at a gate with overwhelmed and semi caring agents. Waited in line almost 2 hours because the guy ahead of me was on an international connection and the IDIOT AGENTS who couldn't help him just kept him there instead of taking him "offline". Outrageous. I finally called my company travel desk and made arrangements to bail on Houston because United was so deceitful on the next flights. 7 o'clock. 9 o'clock. 945. 10. Lying unprofessional dirtbags. I got to the desk and all I wanted was my bad I checked, as a courtesy because of the zone I was in. Well agent said it could be twenty minutes, could be a lot longer because the person handling was not answering. Finally she got through. She told me 20-25 minutes on carrousel 17. Cool. Well, I went to baggage claim only to find there WAS NO 17. I had to take a shuttle to another terminal to get my bag (hmm, WHO DOESNT MENTION THIS??) so I had to leave my bag to ensure I was at the gate for my SW flight. Now I have to make a claim to get my belongings back and who knows what absolute lies and stress I'll deal with in the hopes I ever see my bag again I am not naive. I know this will fall on deaf ears with this airline. The will pull the "safety is our number one priority" card. Well, if that is so, make sure your LANDING GEAR works on your aging garbage aircraft. Nothing will come of this other than me speaking out on all social media outlets, calling news outlets and being as noisy as possible. United continues to fail on all fronts and should be put out of business. ZERO STARS IS MY RATING!
