I'd be remiss if I didn't warn people of our negative experience with this company, who is an agent of Arpin. We had our stuff picked up March 29 in Pittsburgh and we didn't see our stuff again until May 11 in San Diego. They will promise you free storage for a month but it will take a VERY long time to see your stuff again. While I understand a long distance move takes a bit longer, a month and a half is ridiculous.
We had called Stinelli on April 6 to ask them to send our stuff as we had found a place to live. On April 13 we spoke to them and they gave us a "delivery spread" of April 28- May 11. When I called Arpin the following week to see if they could have this "delivery spread" moved up, they informed that Stinelli didn't call them until April 13 and only moved up the date by 2 days. The customer service representative said that Stinelli are the ones that assign the delivery spread.
Our belongings weren't delivered until May 11. I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone. We came to CA with only 1 suitcase thinking that our stuff would be delivered in a timely manner...needless to say, we incurred NUMEROUS expenses in order to live in our apartment and had to buy numerous things we already owned, but Stinelli was essentially holding our stuff hostage (although Debbie claimed they weren't). They must get some type of discount by booking a move with Arpin in advance and having them wait until the VERY last possible minute to deliver their stuff. Worst moving experience ever and we are spreading the word to friends, family and colleagues.
