I picked up my car on Saturday and turns out the car they gave me had expired registration. I got a sticker from my apartment complex that they would tow the car in 48 hrs if this was not rectified. I called Hertz Monday morning to let them know, they said to come in and they would have a car set aside for me, because i know that they are always busy and they often run out of cars I asked if I should come in soon, they said to go ahead and come in but that either way they would have a car for me. I came in 30 minutes later and after having me wait for two other customers they said they no longer had cars. They said they would just renew the registration online and they would call me to let me know it was handled. However, it is now almost 5pm and they have not called, they will not answer their phone, and the general line can't take a complaint or put me in contact with them, they told me to complain online and I did not see anywhere on their website where I could email or list a complaint. I was in a car accident last week, I am pregnant, they have not made anything better for me. I will NEVER recommend them or use the again. They are understaffed and unprofessional and cannot even handle their own mistakes or answer to complaints.
