Fun time, very corny show.
First off, great service. Upon arriving the usher moved us from sitting on the side right to the 3rd row middle. I know this is because they need to fill it in up front to make it look better, but it worked for me! My good seats turned instantly to great seats. (don't forget to tip the usher if they do this for you).
The show is fun and of course the music is great to sing along to. Acting was pretty decent, but good enough for this show for sure.
Drinks in the show are ridiculously priced, so make sure to have a few before coming into the theater.
Staff did a great job dealing with a very loud and obnoxious drunk early on. I appreciate that the staff was looking out for everyone there.
From a musical theater perspective, Rock of Ages is kind of like Rent without the seriousness. I would probably not go see it again, but it was fun.
