I should have known that a hotel called "Econolodge" would use the name as an excuse to buy the cheapest, lowest quality stuff possible. The bed was rock hard, the blankets did not keep any heat in (I literally had to wear my fleece robe to sleep), the shower curtain let water from the shower pour straight out onto the floor, the towels and toilet paper were both scratchy. I would have been perfectly happy without the fancy lamps, microwave, mini fridge, and couch in the room if they had just improved on the things that are actually important in a hotel. The free breakfast is a joke as well. I thought I had low standards when I picked the cheapest hotel in town, but I guess they weren't low enough. The only positive thing I have to say is that the sheets were clean and there were no bedbugs. Do yourself a favor and shell out five more bucks for somewhere nicer.
