I want to Yelp, I want to bite
I want reviews, I want control
I want to Bo Bites, I want to eat in
Destroy all I have eaten
I want to be cool, I want to be fed
I want a chance to taste your food
I want to break out, I want to dive in
To lose myself and binge
I don't need anything
I'm just wanting
Just wanting
I don't need anything
I'm just wanting
Just wanting
Deseo all Deseo is
Deseo feeds Deseo
Deseo all Deseo is
Deseo breeds Deseo
This place is no joke when it comes to impressing foodies. The restaurant is inside the Westin Hotel which smells like a freakin spa as you enter. My friend and I sat at the "kitchen bar" as I like to call it; an open kitchen where you can see the chef and cooks play.
We started with some cocktails and progressed to their ceviche menu. We ordered the Millionaire Tacos, lobster, ahi tuna, hamachi, in a yuca taco shell, a light thin crunchy shell, but it worked. The lobster and ahi had a fresh seafood bite while the jalapeno place atop gave it a pickle and spice crunch. For our entree we shot for the Churrasco en Tabla; a cutting board of meats from what I see. It was a skewer of beef tenderloin, jumbo shrimp, and pork tenderloin. Well plated for sure since it came with a cooking stone to keep your choice of meats warm and 3 different sauces; roasted garlic, cipollini onion, and habanero. My favorite was the habanero. The 3 meats were welled cooked to temperature and juicy with every bite. Placing them on the hot stone was just an extra flare of fun, but wasn't necessary.
In the end, deseo is definitely a fun and romantic location. It really wasn't too bad if you're thinking of a stay-cation for us PHX folks with relaxing spas and great eateries. Service is definitely not lacking and on top while the view of the kitchen and golf course gave this place a relaxing vacation feel. - Enjoy!
