  • Mad Mex is a great place for some affordable Tex-Mex eats, yummy yummy margaritas, and a great time with a group. It's a place that I like to go for a casual meet-up for drinks. If you're at a table for an appetizer and a drink or two, the wait staff is not too pushy to get you to order a million things. I love their margaritas. And for a $5-$7 a drink anyone who complains should probably reassess their lives. One of my go-tos are the mahi-mahi fish tacos. You get so much fish. Two nights ago, my friend and I ordered waffle fries and tacos. I was pretty stuffed after the fries (that come with free cheese and ranch) that I had to take my tacos to go. You get sooooo much food! And there are so many great options for tacos, quesadillas, burritos, salads and more. They also have pretty good guac at a decent price too. For more choices than a place like Chipotle (where you run the risk of getting sick) and tacos that are more of a value than a certain trendy taco place in town... Mad Mex is a really solid choice for food, environment, and drinks.
