| - I'm not a super picky guy because my go to cut is a "High & Tight" which are usually considered "run of the mill". It mainly consists of a #1 on the sides and back, 3/4 of the way up my head. The top is a little longer and I have them leave a little in front to lift the bangs during styling. My wife says it looks like a military cut. Anyway, when you walk in, there will be three chairs, then a partition with one more chair. The first three will be Jim, Kevin and little Jimmy. These are the Carls barbers. The last, partitioned chair is what I will call a "guest" barber. Seems to be someone new each time I go but that guy is usually always needing a customer as most want the regulars to cut their hair. So me being not picky, I will go to whoever gets me in a chair first. When I get a cut from the first three chairs, no complaints. They rock. The "guest" chair, for me, is always hit or miss. When its a miss, I feel like "Oh well, it will grow back" so I don't bitch to much. My advice, if time is a factor, try the guest chair. If you have a style that takes a little finesse, wait for the regulars. I love the hot lather clean-up. The barber banter is second to none and at $14 they don't break the bank.
