  • So I'll own the fact that I didn't know about all the construction. I knew some but not the vastness of it. While I feel lucky to have gotten a new room that was really nice the hotel was horrible. The charge a $35 resort fee per day which I know these hotels do. We've been to Vegas at least a dozen times and I'm aware of this. However. When there are no pools spas hot tubs saunas or fitness center and only two restaurants that close at 10 and one of those restaurants has the only lounge/bar in the hotel also closed at 10 then I think MGM should waive that fee. Limited slots was also disappointing. Oh. And room service only 6am to 2pm. Our faucet in the bathroom had no hot water. Thankfully the shower did. Our room was only cleaned once in 5 days and when I called for wash rags and hand towels I was told they "were out". They sent up 1 wash rag and said to call back tomorrow. Most disappointing Vegas trip thanks to this hotel. MGM. If your remodeling the Monte Carlo then close it down and just get it done. Don't let guests suffer. God knows you have enough other hotels making money
