  • Arrived from out of state on March 12, 2016 for first ever visit to Ohio. There was a long, blonde, curly haired lady at the counter around 2:00 pm and she has got to be the rudest customer service person ever. She had a scowl on her face and was not pleasant at all. She shouldn't be in customer service. When we asked why she was being so rude, she threatened to call security. Needless to say, being from the friendly and hospitable state of Texas, her behavior was very bizarre. We chose to take our business to National Car Rental who bent over backwards with kindness and helped us. She certainly lived up to the reputation that people from the North are rude. I know that not all people from Ohio are like that though as I encountered many friendly ones and she was the exception. This lady needs to be re-educated or perhaps find a non customer service job if she hates hers so much. The bosses at this Thrifty location can't be proud of this. Stay away from this location that you take a shuttle to get to from the Cleveland airport. If you want excellent customer service go to the National car rental counter.
