| - I've always wondered what it'd be like to replace the sealed battery of my Galaxy S6. Thanks to some hot weather, I got the chance sooner than I'd expected.
My phone overheated at an outdoor concert/festival yesterday while I was charging it in my pocket, which caused the battery to expand to the point of dislodging the back panel. I decided not to risk further battery or phone damage, so this morning, I called several places in or near Henderson. I soon realized that Wireless Doctor Computer Solutions had the cheapest price at $60 to replace my particular phone's battery (not to mention that some of the places that I'd called weren't even open on Sunday and others didn't even have this battery in stock).
The guy working this store (perhaps the same person who'd answered my earlier call) quoted the same price in-person. When I was unable to provide a contact phone number because I didn't have another one, he promised to repair it within 45 minutes, which was better than the "about an hour" estimates at other places and also beat out the 2 hour wait time mentioned over the phone. Perhaps there were even more phones to work on in the morning, but I was fine. I took the time to visit an ATM to avoid the $3 credit card surcharge, and when I came back around the promised time, it was ready.
I wish that I hadn't had to explore different niche services this past week, but I feel that I've been exceptionally fortunate. Aside from first recommending calls to multiple places, I'd definitely suggest Wireless Doctor Computer Solutions for phone repairs because of the relatively low cost, the great service, and the convenience.
