  • On our last day in Vegas, my friend suggested that we go to Bacchanal's in Caesar's Palace. Bacchanal's is probably one of the more popular buffets on the Strip, so I was really looking forward to stuffing my face with delicious food for a couple hours. We arrived around 3:00-3:30 p.m. and they were setting up for dinner. The wait time was ridiculously long (almost two hours) so we decided to put our names down and do a bit of shopping at the Forum Shops (I highly suggest doing this so that you're not getting too hangry). We came back just before 5:00 p.m. and the line was much shorter and we were seated and eating by 5:30 p.m. They give you 2 hours to eat but I'm sure if you stay longer, they wouldn't notice ;) The buffet cost us $65/person so I had huge expectations on the food quality and selection. I can't say that there was anything that really stood out to me, as far as the selection goes, but the food quality was definitely 5 STARS. I wasn't really wow'd by anything that I tried but I will say that the seafood was extremely fresh - I loved the shrimp cocktail and crab legs. Just to give you an idea of the types of food, we had: pulled pork, beef sliders, tacos (made to order), nachos, meatballs, mac & cheese, mashed potatoes, fried rice, sushi rolls, prime rib, marinated shrimp, shrimp cocktail, grilled salmon, and crab legs. I'm not much of a buffet person so perhaps Bacchanal's was wasted on me but for the price, I was just expecting a bit more. However, the seafood and dessert are worth the trip if you haven't tried Bacchanal's yet! Maybe I should go back for breakfast or lunch on my next trip but for now, 3 STARS.
