| - I really LOVE the Amazing Chicken. It's truly delish. I don't like green pepper so I ask them to hold the them & give me more carrots, onion, etc. And they did. I ordered the meal for 2 for $30 & it included 2 main dishes - which I could choose (with an $11.95 price point), 2 soups, 2 crab puffs, 2 egg rolls, fried rice, & "fried chips". I was able to get the dishes I enjoy most 1. Amazing Chicken and 2. Chicken w/ veggies (like Moo-Goo-Gai-Pan but with more veggie selection). Both dishes were made with all white chicken - that's how they come - and I definitely like not paying an up charge for all white meat.
I'm telling you it was hot, fresh, made how I like it & DELISH!! I'm serious when I say all other restaurants that serve Moo-Goo-Gai-Pan can't even touch Shangri-La's. It's so much more flavorful & not so bland as you get at most (if not all) other Chinese restaurants.
I'm never disappointed with the taste, quality (freshness) & temp of the food.
I got home & it fed 3 of us & we still have some great left overs!
My only disappointment... I wish they allowed some substitutions - don't get me wrong they'll hold something & just give you more of the veggies already in the dish bit they won't add a veggie that's not listed in the description. Maybe they could allow substitutions on some things & not on everything... But then again, why not? Anyway, that's the only reason I gave it 4 not 5 stars.
Try them... you'll probably join me in saying this is one of the BEST Chinese you'll find this side of the valley.
