| - I've eaten here often over the past couple of years. It offers reliably tasty, reasonably priced food. It's not the best barbecue I've ever had, but it's quite good. BBQ sauce is excellent. I wish the coleslaw were a little better; it's only mediocre, and I really like cold, creamy coleslaw to balance to heat and tang of good barbecue sauce.
The place is BUSY during the lunch and dinner rush; the line can stretch clear to the door (and even out it). It moves pretty quickly, so the wait isn't really the problem; instead, it's the social awkwardness of the arrangement. If you're unlucky enough to be seated at one of the table or booths by the line (which is most of the indoor seating, sadly), everyone standing in it will have a view of your plate and your table manners, though it's often too loud for them to hear your conversation (though if they are really loud, you might have to listen to theirs). Luckily there is seating outside--but during Arizona's LONG summers, it's just too hot to eat out there. The patio can be very pleasant the rest of the year, but in the summer, you should just try to arrive before or after other diners do.
