We heard good things about this museum and train ride so we decided to give it a try. We were running a bit behind and just got tickets in time to jump on the train. We found a car up front with AC and no one else in it. The restroom was in this car so a few people came up but didn't stay.
We were thinking that there would be a historical narration or something while riding the train, but there wasn't. We didn't get good information on where we were going when we bought the tickets, so we just assumed we'd be heading toward the Hoover Dam based on the published information. That was not the case. The train just runs parallel to the Highway 93 route up to the Railroad Crossing Casino, then backs up to the beginning. That's it. Pretty much nothing interesting to see or hear about that we didn't already see from our many drives along Highway 93. Perhaps if there was some kind of "event" going on, this ride would include more excitement.
There were a couple of museum items to look at when we got off the train, but nothing worth the price we paid. I would say don't waste your money ($10 per adult) for this train ride.
