Found a deal on Groupon for this place and I scheduled a 90min couples massage for my wife and I. We just had our massages and overall was great. Upon our arrival, we were greeted and sent to the Zen room to fill out intake forms on a fancy tablet. The Zen room was relaxing and a nice way to prepare to be relaxed.
Our therapists were Christine (I believe) and Pedro. Both were very nice. Once we entered the couples massage room, the therapists were trying to get to know us and what we wanted to be focused etc. It went well, BUT having two therapists talk at the same time was very hard to concentrate and explain my goals that were different from my wife's and speaking at the same time was just awkward.
My massage was okay. I asked for medium pressure, but Christine clearly specializes in deep tissue because man did she get in there! It was my bad, though, because not once did I say to ease up as the pressure was just too much. So it's not fair that I bash her for the massage. I did notice, though, in some areas of the body, knuckles should not be used and she used knuckles and it hurt so much. Knuckles on bone is not fun. The foot scrub was nice though.
My wife had Pedro, and she was completely amazed and loved every moment. The pressure was on point and she loved the stretching and hot towels he used throughout.
This massage was a birthday gift to my wife so I am glad she enjoyed hers as she is extremely picky. I'm a massage therapist myself so I think I'm constantly making sure the therapists is doing this and this rather than relaxing.
I would definitely be back though. Prices are reasonable and the location is close to my house. Pedro I'm trying you next!
