  • I heard (read here) that the Scottsdale store has closed. That's just fine with me - - our $4K+ landscape job was a disaster when it was done by Harper's 4 years ago. Completely sub-par communication, the workmanship quality of a haphazard traveling circus, product that was mostly dead when it was installed, inability to follow instructions, and nothing less than rude and offensive behavior from the crew. It was a joke. They had this professional facade that made them appear to be a well-run professional team of home improvement contractors; but behind the curtain was a mish-mash of disorganized, mostly quite incompetent buffoons. The only reason I never wrote an earlier review was because I didn't want to jeopardize my "warranty" - - - which I was forced to use on multiple occasions because of the shoddy workmanship and substandard materials.
