Where to start... the first week they had it they painted my blue BMW X6 black then argued with me over it being the right color. But you open the doors and could clearly see it in the door jams. They sent me to get a second rental car while the car was sanded down and completely redone.
But they said they would fix it. I should have walked away as the black was beautiful. So I gave them a change to fix it. They had it for a week and a half. Now paying for the rental I had to get last minute. They have never once called me I always have to call them.
It was supposed to be done 6-15 I called and they said oh yea it's not going to be done today I'll have it done tomorrow. This happened Friday, Saturday, Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.
And now when I go to get my car and here is a list of the problems:
Unbuffed/sanded paint in the all door James (it felt like sand paper)
Painted over the rubber lining around the front wind shield, sun roof and back driver side windows.
The rubber lining around the back passenger side window was destroy
The car was supposed to be color sanded and none of if was
The roof had bubbles and bumps all over
Both front headlights were foggy around the edges
The emblem on the hood had paint or maybe burn marks in it
The inside which was detailed was covered with paint residue and was filthy
There was foggy parts all over the car that needed to be buffed out
The backup camera was painted over. The tail light on driver side was hang down
Both back end break lights are not snapped in place in the bumper
There curb guard under the front bumper which is black plastic was painted off and had runs throughout it
There was a 12 inch run on the back passenger side wheel well
A one inch run on the back passenger side quarter panel.
Run on the passenger side piece that's between the windshield and door window
Thursday 6/21/18 the sales manager assured me that he marked and would fix these. They complained that they had to pay for the second rental car. I pointed out that I wouldn't have needed it is there was some sort of quality control done in the different steps of the painting process.
We told the sales manager we would like one person to work on the car instead of a dozen as they clearly just cause's issues. Also due to the amount of problems we ask him to personal inspect it and check the problem areas before giving it back to us. We even ask him would he accept this current as it is not in its current condition. Surprise his answer was no. Keep in mind that we were still being fairly civil here. I told him I would pay for my own return I just want them to fix my car. He said it will be done Tuesday.
Tuesday 6/26/18 came around and again no calls from them. We called and were told that they had to order a new back window as they couldn't just replace the rubber lining. So it was over knighted and won't be there until Wednesday. I told them I need them to call if it looks like it won't be done as we have to pay a fee to extend the rental each day. He said he would call us.
Wednesday 6/27/18 around 10:30am no call (the rental had to be extended by 10:30am) When we called the woman that answered said that it was being details and would be ready in an hour. We called in two hours and the sales manager said no it won't be ready until Thursday as the window did not come in. the company he ordered from said it will take a few days for overnight shipping.
Thursday 6/28/18 we has to call again because we had to extend the rental. Still no window but it will be ready Friday by 9:00am without the window. They will instead side someone out to us to replace the window.
Friday 6/29/18 I go there at 9:00am just as they were bringing it out front to detail it. (Keep in mind I have at this point also lost many hours of work having to come down here and deal with this.) I walk around the car. And here is want I saw:
The front and back bumper were not color sanded
There are spots all over the car that were not color sanded the hood, front driver side quarter panel etc.
The headlights they put clear coat on so they ask me to keep it in the sun 9 as it dried now the whole headlight is foggy)
There was a 12 inch run on the back passenger side wheel well
A one inch run on the back passenger side quarter panel.
Run on the passenger side piece that's between the windshield and door window
There are several missing clips now in the wheel wells
The back bumper is hanging off as is the tail light
The rubber around the sun roof windshield all still have paint all over them
There are several foggy spots in the paint that were not buffed out
There are bumps or bubbles in the paint on the hood, front bumper etc
They did fix the back bumpers orange pile and said it would take ten minutes which was closer to an hour.
The pushed in one of the front sensors so it fell inside the bumper
While fixing the back bumper in the middle of the bumper they scrapped the car.
Now the sales manager said see no more r
