rev:text	I rarely write bad reviews but this office jeopardized my life (literally). I'm a type 1 diabetic and visited Dr. Farrukh over a month ago. While although he was personable and the girls at the front desk are AWESOME, his Nurse should not only be fired but reported to the board and have her license suspended. Maybe not indefinitely but as a slap on the wrist. She has ZERO compassion, personality, professionalism and is very incompetent when it comes to helping people. My insurance wouldn't cover the insulin in which the doctor prescribed me so I called six different times explaining to the nurse that I was completely out of insulin (Walmart sent five faxes as well) and that I needed the two insulin prescriptions changed to the two that my insurance covered. She flat out lied stating she was waiting for a pre-auth from my insurance so I called my Insurance company and they stated that was not true. I called her back to confront her and she didn't deny lying but then tells me the doctor is on vacation for a week and to call back in a week! I'll be dead in a week!!!!!! Unbelievable from that point it only got worse!! I called daily leaving messages for the doctor to call me but this idiot has the nerve to tell me I have to pay another $70 co-pay to come in and speak to the dr. And that he won't be calling back unless I see him! Yeah ok. Thank God for my new PROFESSIONAL ENDOCRINOLOGIST at DesertEndo! For your safety, think before making an appointment here! I've also informed my Insurance company and I'm writing letters to the board! I pray for her and any patients who deal with her.
