This is it right here. The Mecca. Lol. Where all the Filipinos flocks for their cooking needs and eats. The grocery store itself isn't all the large, but it offers all you need to throw it down. Produce is great! Meat selection is great! Seafood department...great! Prices...nothing butt-shocking. Pretty reasonable prices and when I'm doing mass lumpia rolling, I come here for the ground pork rather than going to the neighborhood grocery store because it's cheaper.
The only thing that peeves me is when the lines are long...the lines are long. They don't have actual moving conveyer belts to accommodate your grocery so I feel like this system slows them down. Also, it doesnt offer much space either. Y'all ever watched a bunch of Filipinos get impatient? Lol. Before you get your panties in a bunch, I'm Filipino myself. I really wish they upgrade their register areas to prevent overcrowding. Annnd child...let it be a holiday coming up. Whew...
None-the-less, it's my go-to store when I gotta throw down the home eats. I don't recommend bringing a stroller in the actual grocery store because it's somewhat of an inconvenience because certain areas get crowded with customers waiting (ahem seafood area).
BUT! I do recommend Seafood as a market not only for Filipino fare, but for particular meat cuts you just won't find in your typical grocery store.
Enjoy!
