  • Won't b going back. 1st problem was when Dr.Noyes noticed, thank god, & told me that the prepared syringes that the vet tech had left were not the correct ones(yearly shots). Then my dog was taken from the exam room without a clear explanation of why & what was 2 b done. I am mad at myself 4 not speaking up at that point & insisting that anything done 2 him was 2 b done in front of me. Why give injections, ect. w/out my being present? Never heard of this practice or had happen at any other vet. Won't ever stand for it again. Something not right about that. He was as sweet as could b & well behaved. Assumed he would b brought back in 2 me 2 get shots, ect. Then I was told I could go back out front where cashier, Nicole let me just stand at desk 4 awhile until I asked should I have a seat. When she told me what I owed, I questioned the amount & had been charged 4 something I did not want. I get that mistakes happen, but she then tried 2 basically argue with me about it. I had a thorough discussion w the vet & we had decided it wasn't necessary & it was not her place 2 suggest otherwise. I liked Dr. Noyes but somewhere along the line there was a definite lack of communication. Also, was charged 4 anal sacs being emptied, which I had expressed a concern about, but was not told was going 2 b done out of my presence, as I would have had done IN FRONT OF ME, 2 make sure I was doing it the right way, & 2 make sure it was a necessary procedure or don't charge me 4 it. I had done it at home & could get nothing out, I know what that smell is & after being told they had done it, there was no smell what so ever around that area, which isn't possible if it needed done. Again why not do it in front of me. B.S. Don't appreciate being treated like a fool. Finally had decided w Dr. not 2 have any lab work done that day only 2 find a charge for a lab procedure on bill. It was not made clear 2 me that the heartworm test that was given was one of the lab work fee quotes, $45.00, that we had discussed & I had said no 2.
