rev:text	I've been going to this vet for quite some time since it is close and convenient. Recently my cat started acting funny and hiding in my closet. I took him in one night after work around 7:40. I was seen by a vet who quickly wanted to do a x-ray. He asked what my budget was and I told him about what the x-rays were gonna cost which was $180. I told him to go ahead with the x-ray which told us absolutely nothing. He told me the radiologist would be in the next day and they will look at it and let me know what they said. When I went to pay my bill the receptionist told me it was $179 but when I got home and looked at the bill it was actually $379. They had charged me, on top of the $42 office fee, a $60 emergency fee because my appointment went after 8pm. So they charged me $100 just to walk in the door and get no answers. The vet called the next day and told me the radiologist said the cat had something lodged in his esophagus. He wanted to send a scope down his throat to see what it was which would cost $600. I quickly told him I would not be back and what had happened with the bill. He told me I should go somewhere else. I then took my cat to The Grateful Pet in Boulder City, NV. After the radiologist looked at the same x-rays she said it looked like something in his colon. Turns out he was constipated. I left paying only $63 when he was given fluids all day, an enema, and I was sent home with a stool softener. The cat has never been better. I would have paid close to $1000 and gotten no results still! Don't waste your money!
