Pretty solid selection for a beer fest. Most of the brands were the usual big bottles accompanied with some of the better crafts from California like Lagunitas and Stone and local stalwarts like Tenaya Creek and Big Dog's. There were only a few rare tastes available, so most were just pours that were in season and recently released, but most being available in Total Wine's or Lee's in the area.
Worst part was the weather which was cold, wet, and rainy for nearly the whole event. There were tents set up for games and some live music but that all got axed for the most part due to weather conditions.
For a real beer geek, I think the selection might have underwhelmed. Even the special releases were known and available in a few of the craft bars in town like Aces and Ales or Rebel Republic. But for a drinker who loves craft beer and isn't too high and mighty about finding only the rarest pours, then I think this festival is just right; plenty of beer that keeps flowing and in a cool part of town. Bathrooms needed to be set up differently and more water stations should have been available, but I think the event was worth the money.
