I had such hopes.
I know it can be hard to balance a desire to be helpful with an eye towards not being too pushy. But to not even acknowledge a customer as they enter the store is inexcusable. Thick was not very busy.
Even so, I wondered the shop for at least five minutes providing ample opportunity for at least one of the numerous staff to ask if they might assist me. No luck.
Do I know anything about bikes? No. Do I know anything about providing superior customer experiences? Absolutely. Spent my entire working life doing so.
I'm in the market for a bike. A triathlete friend of mine recommend Specialized or Trek.
Guess where I'm headed next?
