| - Back in 2007, I would probably have given Manifest a four or five star rating. It used to be better organized, large, and stock a wide array of pop culture and music goodies. After my visit today, I have to agree with many of the one star ratings.
It is still a large space, with DVDs and CDs and LPs. The organization of product has suffered and the shopping experience doesn't flow very well. The prices on some stuff is o.k. while on other products it is outrageously expensive.
New CD...$5.99...YES!
Used DVD...$15.99...What?
So, the prices are all over the place. The t-shirt, comic book, action figure, and clearance sections make it feel like a flea market. I would be surprised, barring any changes, if Manifest lasts much longer. I don't know if the change in ownership had something to do with the less than positive changes I've seen, but they need to refocus. So, when I am going to spend money locally on media, I've decided to stick to Lunchbox....
