  • I got a gel mani/pedi done maybe a week and a half ago before I took a trip. It has been 11 days and my toenail polish is half chipped off of some nails and my gel polish is lifting in full sheets. I asked that my fingernails all be the same length even if they were really short and he told me 'I will do my best'. It was a very strange set up as I had the regular spa pedicure where one person took my polish off and another performed the pedicure but was not exfoliated and my manicure was done without soaking my fingernails but wrapped in a warm towel for a few minutes while in the pedicure chair. It was not close to closing time and there were not people waiting area. After the mediocre cuticle trim and polish on my fingers, I didn't notice until I left that there is a U of unpolished nail around half of my fingers, the person who took my toenail polish off gave me a sort-of hand massage. I understand you get what you pay for and this was for the 'happy hour' deal $45 for gel mani and pedi. But I was hoping for a little bit longer than a week and half polish job.
