  • I bought a new 2010 Honda Civic last April with high expectations of this dealership. They have a phenomenal lounge with free WiFi and laptops to use while waiting for service. Coffee, water, juices, and various snacks are available for free as well. It's also very spacious (not like I was used to at an the old Chevy dealership I used to get work done at). There is a super nice lady working at the front desk who always has a smile on her face and just brightens your day instantly. The other sales associates are all friendly and talkative as well and very knowledgeable about the cars they are selling. The reason for three stars? The service department really yanks my chains. I absolutely DREAD the oil change light. They tell you they gladly accept walk in appointments. HECK NO they don't! I came one weekday afternoon for a simple oil change and complementary car wash and the service guy Joe laughed and told me it would be about four hours before they would service me. "haha.. you're funny...." I thought because there were NO cars in the loading area where they keep cars before they work on them. He was serious. So I just thought they were having a busy day for whatever reason and scheduled an appointment for the following week when I was free. You would think with an appointment you'd get less of a waiting time. NOPE. Two whole hours later my car was back with fresh oil. How the hell it takes them two hours for a wash and oil change is beyond me. Other places are known for their quick 20 minute in and out service. Whatever, I've learned to expect to wait a little longer here. I've had 3 oil changes and 1 precautionary service check up when I was going on a long road trip. All of these times I've run into this Joe character in the express service area. The clouds above my head instantly turn gray and rainy when I see his face. Rude, nasty old man who should NOT be dealing with people. I always try to be nice and courteous to those working in a retail or customer service setting because I know what it feels like to have to deal with people for eight hours a day at work. But he seriously makes me want to strangle babies with how frustrated I get dealing with him. It's always "No. We can't schedule you this day. No, not that day either. Nope. How does April 6, 2013 sound for your next oil change? You want WHAT done? Ughhh, well hold on let me get my lazy ass over to a computer and I GUESS I can make that happen..etc." How can YOU not schedule me when it's convenient, but the younger gentleman at the desk next to you can? Because you're a jerk! And you're the sole reason Sunnyside is getting 3 instead of 5 stars from me!
