  • I'm writing this on behalf of my husband who is a truck driver and required to come to Concentra for his medical card to drive. If you need your physical for work, DO NOT COME HERE!! Here is why: 1. They required him to do additional screening with no information of what he needed to clear his physical. He has had to contact and return to this office 4 times within the last month. The information that was given to him today could have easily been explained in his first visit...but why do that right?? If you do not clearly explain things, then you can change the rules as you go along. And bill the insurance for each new "issue". Seems legit. 2. Because he was not able to complete his screening within the deadline, he was unable to work for a week. In the meantime, he was able to get his medical card from another medical facility here with no issues, no additional screenings. When he was given his card today, they told him that he needed to return in a month because he needed 30 days screening. Why would you not tell someone that when you required it?!!! If the process is consistent, wouldn't the dr/nurse tell him that they weren't going to sign off for 30 days?!! oh wait...because that's another few visits you can get out of him and his insurance. 3. If you value your time, just stay away. A clean office shouldn't be a luxury and friendly staff shouldn't be a big enough deal to write a good review. Clean and friendly isn't going to pay the bills. The only blessing in this is the company he works for is seeing a recurring issue with Concentra and is looking into moving their contract.
