I come here 3-4 days a week anytime from mid morning to early afternoon. Been a member of anytime since 2013. Been going to this location for about 6 months. I travel a decent amount and have seen a lot of different anytime fitness locations, some better, some worse. This one falls about in the middle, hence the 3 stars.
Pros: I live less than 5 minutes away so its convenient.
There are anytime fitness locations pretty much everywhere which is also convenient and helps me keep from skipping work outs
Its cheap. Whoever wrote that anytime is expensive should show me a cheaper gym. Seriously. I dont think there is one.
My initial 2 year contract is up and theyre letting me go month to month. Very cool
Cons: The free weights are always occupied to the point where the wait to use them compromises the effectiveness of the work out. For this reason I have completely stopped lifting and now exclusively do cardio. Just not worth getting engaged in turf wars over by the dumbells.
This place is PACKED on the weekends. To the point where its hard to find a place to park. And a good number of the people there on the weekend are more concerned with socializing than working out which is annoying.
This gym has more old people than any gym ive been to except maybe a ymca or two. But they are only around during the week. Still, the stench of bengay and granny perfume can be nauseating.
The wifi doesnt always work, although recently it has been much better.
In conclusion this place is just good enough to keep me from making a switch, which isnt really saying much since I live 2-3 minutes away. If they ever raise prices Ill probably make a switch since running on the treadmill is getting old.
