  • I love Filipino food, and living in Tucson I'm unable to get my fix since there hasn't been a Filipino restaurant there in at least 5 years. Whenever I'm in Phoenix I tend to make a point to go to Halo Halo Kitchen. First off, their stock varies every day, so I have trouble catching them on the dishes I want like kare kare. This is because the restaurant is buffet style so they can rotate out as they please. The food itself is delicious though! They don't have too many choices, but what they do have I enjoy. My main complaint is that it's expensive. It wasn't always expensive. They've just slowly increased their prices over time and now I think it's over-priced for what you get. I still recommend it! Try the kare kare if you can.
