  • I'll give credit where credit is due and I'll start off by saying that the venue and its function rooms are beautiful, the limo provided is awesome, the responsiveness of our wedding coordinator was good and we were happy with our minister. They are however rather lacking in hospitality and flexibility. We tipped generously, there were gratuity envelopes and suggested amounts for the minister, limo driver and even the photographers being at least $30-40 each for an event that lasted between 10-20mins. We were not aware that getting wedding accessories from them wasn't simply a convenient option but that we wouldn't be allowed to bring any accents/accessories/props of our own at all. I did not like the surprise "processing fees" left and right that kept pushing our budget. We were also not aware that viewing wedding photos was going to be by appointment and so the day after when our guests were about to fly out of state and people were waiting to see some pictures (since nobody was allowed to take photos during our own ceremony even if we paid for the venue and photography package anyway) we had to wait days to view the pictures. Upon viewing, that's when I find out it would take at least a month to receive any prints and that all of said prints would have copyright stamps on it keeping us from either uploading on social media or scanning them, etc. To quite an extent, all this made it feel like they owned our event. We were also not given much of a tour of the grounds so we did not get to choose well where our photos would be taken after the ceremony and just followed wherever the photographers took us, thus we were unaware and unable to study our options well. Also, although we did not opt to do the online broadcast, nor did we care for the feature video created and considering we got the second to the most basic/smallest photography package, we still were charged a premium with hardly any consideration for things we did not wish to use anyway when it came down to feeling forced to get the digital package which we had not budgeted for and thought we'd be able to own and receive at least the prints we paid for within reasonable time. There was also a processing fee to order the digital files. Like one of the other reviews here, we did end up paying nearly double what we thought we would because of all the extras which are not discussed until later. I wasn't pleased with the fact that we brought just a simple fabric bouquet for my bridesmaid and a small basket with a handful of fabric flower petals for my flower girl - and I was told I'd forfeit my own bridal bouquet if they used those. We paid over a thousand dollars for a party of less than 20 in a venue for a ceremony that lasted 10-15 minutes and got no elbow room at all for any considerations/accommodations. It was a very short event but the lack of flexibility and customization made it feel, for a Chapel, more of a business than a family-oriented celebration. Other than the well-kept venue, efficiency of the coordinators and the good service we received from the minister and photographers, the way the business is set up is not very friendly towards a couple and their family's requests for some reasonable accommodations. Also if you're trying to keep to a budget, be prepared for some surprises. It would certainly have been better if everything had been outlined and mentioned CLEARLY and COMPREHENSIVELY on their package descriptions which talked about everything other than hidden costs/conditions.
