  • I'm a firm believer that Circle K prides itself on having foul bathrooms. So I needed to fuel up and took the first exit in Tucson I saw that has a gas station. I was intending to go to QT as it was just a little further down the road, but I just needed gasoline. I grab pump and I feel something sticky and greasy on handle. I'm not a germaphobe but I was not touching anything in my truck until I sterilized my hands from this mysterious substance. I inquire if bathroom needed a key and was told no. I walk in and like most Circle K bathrooms I was greeted with a foul stench. I noticed immediately that the white toilet seat appeared to have what I hope was chocolate pudding sneered on seat. So I'm thinking, just wash my hands, just wash hands and get out. Problem is I'm positive that same chocolate pudding is on the faucet handle as well. I go to grab paper towel to use as a skin barrier to faucet handle and dispenser is empty. I quickly figure out the whole role is placed on top for a reason. I go to tear a section of paper towel off and it falls to floor. No big deal right? Well as I go to pickup roll I see it's wet from absorbing some type of liquid and now I'm needing a skin barrier to pick up paper towel roll. Again I think quick and go with the toilet paper. After tedious cleaning of faucet handles I was able to wash my hands, used toilet paper to dry hands off as it appeared to be the only thing the "chocolate pudding bandit" did not touch....which now I think about is puzzling, but either way I signed off cleaning schedule for the morning, decided not to charge Circle K and made it to my truck and back on road with clean hands. I give this Circle K 2 stars as Store was above average for Circle K's, but I rate gas stations by bathroom cleanliness as I know the employees have to use and they only stock shelves with food and such which made me not want to buy or touch anything in store.
