  • After waiting nearly 5 hours to be seen Dr. Ruiz saved any grace I had left in me toward in the big easy animal hospital. She was very kind, informative and took her time explaining everything. She also explained it took so long because it was the day after a long weekend. I will probably return to the big easy but will never do a walk in ever again unless it is an absolute emergency. ALWAYS MAKE AN APPOINTMENT EVEN WHEN THE RECEPTIONIST INSISTS IT WILL TAKE THE SAME AMOUNT OF TIME TO BE SEEN, THIS IS A BOLD FACED LIE! We were very close to walking out after waiting so long and leaving a negative review based on the wait time and horrible advice of the receptionist alone. I'm glad we finally got in to see Dr. Ruiz because I would have hated to leave a negative review that reflects her based on her front desk employee. Bottom line is, make an appointment, Dr. Ruiz is amazing, she truly cares about animals and it reflects in the office.
