  • I used to be a member of this LA fitness for several years until I recently moved and had to cancel my membership because there wasn't an LA fitness in Gainesville, FL. I returned for holiday with my family and got a guest pass online which stated it was good for 4 days. Went into the club to have it activated and the young man that activated it was irritated that I wasn't looking to start a membership with the club and said he'd only activate it for one day because I was "out of state." I know that there are LA fitnesses in FL where I live, just not in the city I live in currently - so I don't see why being out of state would make a difference (especially to use the club for four days, big whoop)! The only reason I came back to this club to work out was because I love working there but this turned me off for future use and memberships.
