  • As far as life philosophies go, DIY is near the top of my list, as well as almost everyone I look up to, regardless of how successful they are at it. Of course there are exceptions, like dentistry and health care in general, your love life, and air travel, but for going out and having fun, a DIY space to do it in is absolutely tops. With some of the most unimportant bands that tour from the US to local punk rock royalty, this space is legendary and feels like home even though I've only been twice. And with honest vegan snacks and local craft brews for reasonable dollars, who would complain? Not me.
