Why you should AVOID City Seamless Rain Gutters. The following information of the damage that was caused by this UNPROFESSIONAL, DISHONEST, AND DISRESPECTUL COMPANY SHOULD MAKE YOU THINK TWICE ABOUT USING THIS COMPANY!
Let me start by stating that City Seamless Rain Gutters boasted to me about their gorgeous and effective "seamless rain gutters" and how their company was one of the best companies with a superior product. Now let me bring you update about this Company.
The day of my install, Installer Steven arrived on time and went right to work. Approximately 2 hours later he requested for me to evaluate my new seamless rain gutter on my back patio area. Just prior to showing me my professionally installed superior seamless rain gutter, he told me that there was a slight problem with my gutter just PRIOR to installation? Steven told me that the rolling door on the company truck damaged my gutter. When he was confronted about why he would install a damaged product on my home, he stated that he would knock $50 off the total price of the gutter? Upon viewing the gutter, it looked HORRENDOUS! A huge dent that was spray painted with a different colored paint than the original gutter? I immediately told Steven that the product was inferior and was totally unacceptable. He immediately asked what price I thought would be acceptable and he was immediately told, "ZERO"! I told him that I did not want the damaged sloppy looking gutter on my new home, which by the way, also had a seam? City Seamless Rain Gutters with SEAMS? Steven then told me that he would install another seamless rain gutter with no damage and no seams in the color of my house? This leads me to a reasonable and common sense question, "WHY WOULD ANYONE INSTALL A DAMAGED AND DEFECTIVE INFERIOR PRODUCT?"
Once Steven left my brand new very expensive home, I walked out into my front yard to do yard work. This was when my NIGHTMARE began. What I saw was more HORRIFIC THEN THE SEAMED DAMAGED AND DEFECTIVE RAIN GUTTER THAT WAS PRESENTED TO ME AT A DISCOUNTED PRICE BY A REPRESENTATIVE OF CITY SEAMLESS RAIN GUTTERS. Right out in front of my driveway was what looked like half of the City Seamless Rain Gutters company vehicles engine oil? I could not believe that a SO CALLED PROFESSIONAL, LICENSED AND BONDED COMPANY would not immediately apologize for the engine oil leak and immediately request to start cleaning up the large engine oil spots out in front of my home. Instead, the installer/representative quickly leaves causing me time (4 hours) and money (2 gallon jugs of Costco Degreaser (great product by the way), a wire grill brush, and thousands of gallons of water) to clean up City Seamless Rain Gutters engine oil mess. Not only did this leak leave oil stains out in front of my home, it left stains out in front of my neighbor's homes that I had to apologize for after cleaning up the City Seamless Rain Gutters oil mess.
HERE COMES THE MOST UNPROFESSIONAL, DISREPECTFUL, JAW DROPPING STATEMENT EVER MADE TO ME BY ANY BUSINESS OWNER, especially after what I had to do to correct a serious problem caused by City Seamless Rain Gutters. Per the owner of the company, the ENGINE OIL that was dumped out in front of my house was not oil, it was "GATORADE".
Yes, OWNER told me in his snotty sarcastic tone, "GATORADE".
After his so called comic statement about the leak from his vehicle being Gatorade, the owner proceeded to threaten me with a Mechanic Lien on my brand new home if I did not pay him for the damaged and defective City Seamless Rain Gutter product that was installed on my home. By the way, any Reputable, Respectable, and Professional company would not have ever installed a DAMAGED AND DEFECTIVE PRODUCT to anyone's home. The owner would also not listen to any alternative recommendations, one of which was taking down his DAMAGED AND DEFECTIVE INFERIOR PRODUCT along with caulking and painting the damage to my fascia board and paying me for my clean-up of his companies blunder.
