I stopped using Yelp a few years back but logged in today just for this facility.
I have no complaints about Dr. Moxley himself but have a plethora towards his staff and lack of business ethic. On 06/07/2013, I called to set an appointment for a referral. She took all my info, gave me a date, and confirmed that they are accepting online submission of patient forms(website gives that option.) Arrived on 06/17/2013 and was told there is no record of an appointment and none of my forms are in their system since it's still under construction. I supplied the name of the girl I spoke to on 06/07/2013 and she just shrugged it off and said wait 30mins and they'll fit me in. I was finally taken back and the whole consultation took less than 5 mins including the "new" set of xrays(since mine were insufficient.) The doctor quickly looked at them and told the assistant to book surgery. The assistant lead me to the front explaining that pre-auth takes up to 6 weeks, expect a call to schedule surgery, and that they will call if there are any issues.
FAST FOWARD to today. I called my insurance, no pre-auth was submitted. Called Dr. Moxley's office, was told that he will no longer be accepting my insurance as of 07/31/2013 so THEY DIDN'T BOTHER submitting the pre-auth since the approval could take up to 6 weeks. I have waited over a month while my file was pushed back to the bin with no common courtesy to say, "Hey, you might want to look for a new doctor since we can't help you!"
I will NEVER refer anyone to this doctor due to his incompetent staff.
