  • After I finally accepted that Prairie Girl cupcakes were okay at best (the icing is overpowering the cake ratio + their specialty flavours are repetitive), I needed a new desert place. I decided it was time to find a really good cookie place. I found Moo Milk Bar and I haven't looked back since. Their cookies are delicious. They have their standard cookie flavours. I still haven't tried them all. Then they have some specialty cookies here and there. When you do cookies right you don't need too many special features & the like. So I went there last week and got some cookies, they had bacon toffee nut!! As for texture their cookies are soft and have the fresh out of the oven feel, even a day later (trust me). The downside of this spot is that it's located in the Beaches. If you don't live there you already know what level of struggle it is to get there via TTC. But it's worth it. If you go there later in the day it's better to call ahead and ask for a box to be put aside of the flavours you want. The cookies are 1.90 each, but it's better to just get a box and share or be greedy and scarf them down alone. Whatever floats your boat. Love this place! (still have yet to try their ice cream sandwiches)
