rev:text	We stopped in for lunch on a Friday afternoon. At first, we weren't sure it was even open because most of the plaza is getting a face lift and the construction is very apparent and fairly disruptive on that side. It was a nice day out, but the outside tables were empty because of said construction. Oh well, inside we went. I was actually kind of surprised when we walked in. It's bigger than I expected, with various tables and booths. Also, a nice looking and well stocked bar. We were seated and our hostess was friendly. We were given menus and offered 3 different kinds of water. I ordered the green juice ($8), which was decent. And we inquired about the iced tea- made in house or from a fountain? I never really thought we got a clear answer.. Our very nice waiter seemed confused. Maybe it's how we worded the question. I still don't know the answer, though. The lunch menu was straight up disappointing and small as hell. As a person who doesn't eat gluten or dairy, there was only one appealing thing- the lemon chicken salad, hold the mozz, dressing on the side. My forever PIC ordered the Biloxi chicken sandwich with a caesar salad. The salad was average all across the board. I am borderline salty about paying $13 for cold, cubed chicken, canned chickpeas and sunflower seeds with olive oil and lemon juice as a dressing.. Oh wait- can't forget the scant pieces of avocado tossed in there. Alas; after a 90 minute yoga class, I was starving and ate it. My forever +1's sandwich and salad looked ok and was reported as good. The chicken to everything else ratio wasn't as great as other reviews/photos had boasted. Although I will say, the side salad was generously portioned. It looked like it was more than half of my regular sized salad. Maybe it's to make up for the lack of protein. Oh, and none of our food was 'instagram worthy'. This one guy who wasn't our waiter, and I don't think he was the bus boy either, refilled our glasses and was perfectly nice, but smelt like an ashtray. Totally reeked of cigarettes. Farm to table? Nah, tobacco field to table. Apparently brunch is where it's at here, but coming back for that or dinner (with lunch being totally out of the question) would be a hard sale for me.
