I had the crab and crawfish étouffée with dirty rice. All spice and no flavors in a watery tomato solution. Too much emphasis was placed on the spice and not on the actual flavor of the étouffée. Which is surprising because the dish had a generous portion of crawfish (crab, not so much). The dirty rice was nothing more than a tasteless mass of brown rice with specks of meat. If you've ever eaten Cajun food from the south then you will not have the slightest appreciation for cooking here. The jumbo shrimp cocktail was delicious but how can you mess that up?
