The only way this place could be more authentic is if they didn't speak English. Picture plastic tables and paper plates in a musty corner of a crowded grocery store smelling of curries and spices. You literally have to walk into the kitchen populated with disgruntled barefoot women cooking at breakneck speeds to hand them your ticket. The food is inexpensive, but delicious. Unfortunately, I wish I knew more about Indian food because there is no explanation as to what any of the menu items are, and the employees raised their eyebrows when I asked. I just asked for the ones that I felt I had a shot at pronouncing. Good choices.
If nothing else sells you, know that the place is constantly crowded with Indians. They seem to like it, so it's gotta be authentic.
