| - What a weird place. Not the particular location itself, but just the whole BBB thing. I assume they're all the same ... smelling kind of weird, like a mix of cleaning chemicals and scented candles, and constantly having infomercial videos playing on small TVs everywhere next to the products being hawked. It was like walking through an 80s sci-fi dystopia movie. You know that scene in Robocop and Murphy is walking through his old house while the video real estate agent blathers in every room? It was like that, except for Soda Streams and brooms, and there was bedding up to the ceiling.
For the record, the staff were very nice. I was wandering, and somebody asked me if I needed help. Three people ended up assisting me. I was looking for a Le Creuset stoneware pot, and while it was available on their website, they didn't have it in store. The staff tried to order it for me, so I could still use my in-store coupon. And they really tried, but the computer just wouldn't let them order it. Warehouse issue or something. I felt kind of bad for wasting their time.
Later, I went home, and was able to pretty much buy it on the website (which needs a serious, serious design overhaul). But I didn't, because I wouldn't get the discount. So, whatever. And who still doesn't let customers just show a coupon on their mobile and instead make them print it out?
Anyway, I wasn't impressed. BBB needs to get their stuff together, literally.
