  • Was insulted by the "doorman" at the Alibi for wearing shorts. I am a local who was entertaining my boss and clients. I recommended the Vdara and Aria so we could go to Jean Georges Steakhouse. We started the evening at the Alibi before going to the Jean Georges Steakhouse where we spent a small fortune on dinner (see my review.. 5 start dinner). When we went back to Alibi for drinks, meeting 10 more guests, I was told to leave the bar because I had shorts on. Nice shorts, not cut offs, after all I was just dining at their premier restaurant and they had no problem with my shorts. I have to say that I have never been so embarrassed. After telling the doorman that all these people are here because I recommended the Aria and MLife, after explaining that I have already been in the bar earlier, this man simply said, " I don't make the rules" REALLY? You don't think either. Well you just lost my business Mr "I don't make the rules". Maybe you missed the weather report.. 110 today in Las Vegas. Maybe you missed the fact that I was with a large party. Use your head.... I just spent $$$$ in your establishment.... for the last time!
