  • Went here wanting bbt, but decided to get the egg waffle and ice cream instead when I saw it was available. I got the chocolate chip egg waffle and green tea ice cream. The egg waffle was perfect; the texture was just solid enough that I could grab a bubble and tear it, but soft enough that the bubble would mostly retain its shape. The chocolate chips were rich, sweet and slightly bitter like you would expect, but more importantly it gave something slightly solid to bite through in what would otherwise be an all soft textured dish. The biggest thing for me about the dish was that the ice cream was quite hard and quite cold. This meant that I could enjoy the whole snack without ending up with a puddle of ice cream and mushy waffles in the end. The green tea ice cream was good, but nothing stood out about it. I am saving my last star for when I try some of their bbt. I did get bbt takeout but I drank it the next day. EDIT: I have had a few bbts from here and I absolutely love the sesame tapioca. The bbt itself was nothing particularly special, but I will come back here over chatime next door for the tapioca.
