  • The Rex is a very low key and laid back place for jazz and music lovers in the city. Dropped by on a Friday afternoon for a few drinks and to see a friend's band play. The place was pretty busy. Sight lines of the stage are kinda awful with random columns blocking the view. And they have no AC. I just about shriveled and died from the heat. Good choice of beers on tap with pints ranging between $6-$8. We sat at the bar and the bartender was friendly and attentive.
