Stopped in here today to pick up a case of beer for tonight. Been a long hot day of spring cleaning and we planned on a relaxing evening poolside with a cpl cold ones. Went to ring up our purchases when we pointed out that the sign on the door says it's on sale. Cashier stated to verify the price and she would let the manager know since she couldnt change the price herself (she stated it's against the law to change the price of alcohol!!!!). Went and looked at the door to confirm the price (really should have been her job to confirm the price.) And then she got angry and stated "I just told you I couldn't change the price....I'm not selling you beer." Wait, you asked us to confirm the price so you could let your manager know that it's not ringing up correctly! Really? You're not going to sell us a case of beer over following your request?
Well Chevron, look at your video feed. Verify that you have the WORST customer service representative working for you on the afternoon shift. For the last four years, this has been the gas station we have used for gas, soda, chips, candy, etc. Your morning staff is amazing. But one bad apple on your staff has ruined the barrel. There are 8 other gas stations conveiniently located near me. I'll be stopping there on my travels. Seriously!!!! Refusing to sell beer because we point out its on sale and followed the directions of your staff who was too LAZY to go read your advertising? I don't know how much $$$ you will be losing because of her but this is one customer who will be using any of the 7 other gas stations vs yours.
