Wish i could give this place less than 0 stars. Moved into the apartment complex because I was new to the area and was attracted to the affordable rent. On move in weekend, I found my whole apartment smelled of paint and was in horrible condition (they literally painted over everything hoping to hide how old the unit was including paint in the tubs, sinks, counters, and roaches running in the sink and kitchen etc...). I immediately told the office and they tried moving me to another unit that smelled of smoke. They told me since I had no where to go I could stay the weekend and get out of my lease (since the landlord did not work weekends). Came in Monday morning and was promised I would be let out of my lease but would lose my deposit. I was okay with this because the apartment was in really bad shape and made all my items smell of smoke and knew I couldn't live in a place like this. Handed over my keys and signed that I moved out. Ended up paying over $700 for staying in a smelly, old and rundown unit for less than a week. I was reassured by the staff that I was done with all payments. Fast forward 3 months later I get a call from Collections saying I owed $3500 on the apartment though I moved out with the place untouched. Went in to talk to the landlord to find out the whole staff was overturned and no one would talk to me at all, even though they had my files showing I moved out, the space was in the same condition and the circumstances of my move out. New staff wouldn't even listen. I am all for taking responsibility for my actions, but this place is far beyond description of despicable. Shady business run by even shadier people. If you can avoid, I highly recommend you look elsewhere!
